The mission took a dark turn when the system rejected the data, leaving Alva crushed. We had to navigate flooded, tomb, like tunnels to find an exit. Aloy did her best to offer support during the climb, but a peaceful swim outside was cut short by a dangerous Dreadwing encounter.
They were so close, but when the system finally rejected them, the disappointment was heavy. Alva takes these things personally because she cares so much about the data of the "Ancestors," and seeing her heart break like that was tough.
Even the lady in the hologram seemed to mock their progress, just a flickering reminder of what they couldn't reach. We had to move on, but Alva was visibly shaken.
As they started walking through the darker parts of the facility, the mood of Alva shifted from frustration to just being flat-out somber.
Aloy was trying to find the right words to calm her down. She isn't exactly a therapist, but she's a good friend when it counts.
The only way out was through the bowels of the ruins. We ended up in these damp, flooded tunnels. You can see the light reflecting off the water. It felt like we were walking through a tomb.
Then we hit this massive vertical shaft with a ladder shows just how far up we had to climb to see daylight again.
Once we finally reached the water outside, I thought we'd get a breather. We were swimming through the misty lake, and for a second, it looked peaceful.
I climbed on a stone pillar, scouting the massive ruins ahead. But the silence didn't last. The Dreadwing decided to crash the party, dropping down to block our path. It wasn't the "ride" we were looking for, but a fight was definitely one way to clear the air.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
