I returned to the rebel outpost under a beautiful sunrise to eliminate the leader. After gliding in silently, I took down guards, adapted when detected, and eliminated the remaining forces alongside an overridden machine. Finally, I searched the leader's body, and the outpost quest securing a rebel key.
I came back to the rebel outpost after taking a flight earlier. The morning sky looked stunning with a beautiful sunrise lighting up the entire horizon. I stayed close to the perimeter as I approached the location, knowing I needed to find and defeat the rebel leader once I get inside.
As I made my way toward the high ground, I passed by a destroyed Horus lying motionless in the dirt. I did not expect to find a dead Horus sitting around here, but there it was. The surrounding terrain felt familiar, reminding me of a mission I had completed long ago in this exact area.
Soon enough, I reached the high ground right above the rebel outpost I was looking for.
Looking down from my vantage point, I saw that the area was heavily guarded. I spotted a rebel watching the perimeter from a nearby guard tower. My plan was simple. I wanted to glide over from above and drop down for a silent strike.
I decided to give it a try, knowing that if I failed, I could always pivot to a direct confrontation.
I glided across, but I could not manage to trigger the silent strike from midair. However, the moment my feet touched the tower surface, I reacted quickly and took the guard down before he could raise an alarm.
It still counted as a successful silent infiltration since no one else in the camp saw me land.
Once the initial guard was dealt with, I tracked down the location of the rebel leader, who possessed the best gear in the entire outpost.
To get closer to my primary target, I maneuvered toward another tower for better positioning. I waited in the tall grass for one of the guards to walk past. I thought he would come close, but I did not expect him to walk right up to my hiding spot.
That unexpected path gave me a perfect opportunity to perform a silent strike and take him down cleanly.
I stayed hidden as two more bandits noticed movement and came over to investigate the disturbance. I remained still in the tall grass while they searched the area. One of them actually walked right past the body I had left behind, but surprisingly, they did not react to it at all.
However, another guard stepped far too close to my hiding position. I had to act fast, so I brought him down before he could react.
Unfortunately, another nearby guard caught a glimpse of me and alerted the rest of the camp. My stealth plan was over.
With the alarm raised, I abandoned stealth and quickly scaled a nearby tower to regain the high ground.
From that elevated position, I drew my bow and shot down the enemy who had spotted me. By that point, only the rebel leader remained alive, standing directly beneath my position.
I seized the moment and launched a strike from above, dropping down on the leader. Taking down the rebel leader turned out to be much easier than I anticipated. However, right as the leader fell, an overridden machine controlled by the rebels charged forward to attack me. I quickly dodged its heavy strikes and scrambled back up onto a tower for safety.
I lined up my shots and took the machine down with a few well-placed arrows. With all threats eliminated, the outpost fell quiet. I climbed down to search the rebel leader's body to finish the quest. Among the loot, I found a rebel key along with several metal shards, leaving me to figure out what the key would unlock.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
