Flying through snowfall at night, I landed my Sunwing at Plainsong to meet Zo about her side quest. She revealed that restoring the local Plowhorn machines required rebooting three distant units: So, Ti, and Do. After receiving their coordinates, I explored the illuminated grounds on my mount before resting.
Flying high above the terrain on my Sunwing, I made my way toward Plainsong under a dark night sky filled with gently falling snowflakes.
Looking down from above gave me a fresh perspective on the vast Utaru territory; during my previous visits on foot, I never had a flying machine to soar across the canopy, so the familiar settlement looked completely different from the air.
Spotting a designated perch high up on the structure, I brought my Sunwing in for a landing and hopped off. Zo was already waiting for me close-by, eager to discuss her plan.
Expressing confidence in Zo's ability to handle the local elders, Aloy asked for an update on the mission to heal the ailing farming machines.
Zo explained that GAIA had provided a solution, but implementing it would be difficult, because the Plowhorn units are linked together across a local network, the reboot code must be uploaded to all of them simultaneously.
While most of the farming machines remained within Plainsong, three specific units, designated So, Ti, and Do, had wandered off into dangerous territory over the years. Knowing their exact coordinates wasn't the issue; reaching them safely was the true challenge.
Aloy offered a plan, telling Zo to handle the local farming machines within Plainsong while she'd hunt down the three lost units herself. After receiving the location data and reboot codes from Zo, Aloy reassured her that they wouldn't let the Utaru people starve.
With the objective set, I decided to leave the tracking for another day and take some time to explore the night landscape on my Sunwing.
Mounting up, I took off into the cool air, enjoying the incredible view of Plainsong's glowing, organic architecture lit up in the dark.
Gliding over the fields, I spotted one of the peaceful Plowhorn machines roaming below and landed nearby to inspect the metallic creature that the local tribe reposed so much faith in.
Continuing my flight toward the main entrance gate constructed by the Utaru, I hopped off to open photo mode, posing Aloy against the ambient light spilling from the structure.
With the photo taken, I climbed back onto my Sunwing to wrap up the session, ready to track down the distant machines in the next update.
