I wake up in the morning, look outside my window at the cars racing to work and it strikes me how most people are out there living like a shadow of a shadow of themselves.
Trapped inside a script they didn’t even write.
They wake up every day, refuse the call to run the world, and choose to settle for a linear, comfortable life because they’ve been conditioned to think everything is fixed.
That if they sucked at school or business as a teen, they’re destined to suck today.
They move from Step A to Step B by brute force.
Chasing external goals, paying bills, and filling internal holes while letting constant stress, worries and limitations take all the juice right out of their limitless nature.
It’s a sad video game where they sit in the traffic of their own heads.
Trapped in a continuous dress rehearsal.
Watching life pass them by like a vanilla movie instead of waking up, taking risks and actually feeling the bliss of making a real leap.
Deep for a Friday, I know.
Dane.
