Una nueva rutina con Santi porque apoyar también es aprender a soltar [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos espero todos se encuentren bien y disfrutando de sus días con alegría. Por este lado estamos bien, descansando en el calor de mi hogar.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva experiencia y les cuento que mis hijos práctican diferentes actividades y a pesar de que casi son en el mismo horario los días que Gaby no tiene natación, le toca a mi hijo Santi dirigirse hasta la ciudad deportiva para sus entrenamientos de atletismo.

Hasta hace poco, este viaje representaba una logística complicada por el tema de la distancia y la gasolina, pero todo cambió hace poco con la activación de una nueva ruta de transporte público que conecta directamente nuestro municipio con el de la pista, realmente es un alivio.

Aunque tenemos carro, el tema de la gasolina se ha vuelto cuesta arriba. Así que nos adaptamos al autobús, este cuesta poco más de $1 ida y vuelta, mientras que llevarlo yo me representa al menos $4, así que alternamos, cuando Gaby tiene sus clases de natación o lírico, yo los llevo a ambos pues las actividades quedan cerca y prácticamente en el mismo horario, pero otros días, Santi se aventura en el autobús.

Antes de todo esto decidí hacer la ruta del autobús con Santi para ver con el, el trayecto y explicarle dónde debía bajarse y dónde esperar el autobús de regreso. Así que este lunes, nos preparamos con tiempo. Calculamos que si salimos a las 3:30 pm, llegamos justo y aunque ese primer día el autobús se retrasó y salió a las 4:00 pm, decidimos seguir adelante. Era la prueba, caminamos juntos desde la parada hasta la ciudad deportiva, yo viviendo ese trayecto por primera vez. Santi llegó tarde, pero avisó a su profesor, quien lo entendió.

Tuve la dicha de caminar a la pista y tomar fotos bonitas. Desde arriba, todo tiene otra perspectiva. Incluso capturé el sol ocultándose, es todo una maravilla.

Al terminar el entrenamiento a las 7:00pm, caminamos hasta la parada frente al centro comercial Sambil, la última salida del autobús está pautada para las 7:10pm desde la parada.

Pues que sorpresa me llevé, de noche todo luce iluminado y espectacular. Descubrí canchas de pádel y beach tennis que ni sabía que existían, además de la famosa pista de karting y el Food kard. Es todo un mundo deportivo super cool como dice mi hijo.

Al llegar a la parada, vi tanta gente que me asusté. Pensé que no habría espacio en el autobús, pero el fiscal me explicó que esa parada sirve para varias rutas por toda la isla. Era solo la hora pico y por eso el alboroto.

Así emprendimos este nuevo camino, descubriendo y adaptándonos y sobre todo, valorando la experiencia. No es solo economizar, es crecer juntos, abrir los ojos a lo nuevo y disfrutar el proceso, aunque todo esto implique salir de nuestra zona de confort, hay momentos en que es justo y necesario.

Today I want to share with you a new experience and I tell you that my children practice different activities and although they are almost in the same schedule the days that Gaby does not have swimming, it is my son Santi's turn to go to the sports city for his athletics training.

Until recently, this trip represented a complicated logistics because of the distance and gasoline, but everything changed recently with the activation of a new public transport route that directly connects our municipality with the track, it really is a relief.

Although we have a car, the issue of gasoline has become uphill. So we adapt to the bus, it costs a little more than $1 round trip, while taking it myself represents at least $4, so we alternate, when Gaby has her swimming or lyrical classes, I take them both because the activities are close and practically in the same schedule, but other days, Santi ventures on the bus.

Before all this I decided to do the bus route with Santi to see with him, the route and explain him where he should get off and where to wait for the bus back. So this Monday, we prepared ahead of time. We calculated that if we left at 3:30 pm, we arrived just right and although that first day the bus was late and left at 4:00 pm, we decided to go ahead. It was the test, we walked together from the bus stop to the sports city, me living that journey for the first time. Santi was late, but he warned his teacher, who understood.

I had the joy of walking to the track and taking beautiful pictures. From above, everything has another perspective. I even captured the sun going down, it's all a marvel.

At the end of the training at 7:00pm, we walk to the bus stop in front of the Sambil shopping center, the last bus departure is scheduled for 7:10pm from the bus stop.

Well, what a surprise I had, at night everything looks illuminated and spectacular. I discovered paddle tennis and beach tennis courts that I didn't even know existed, plus the famous karting track and the Food Kard. It's a whole world of super cool sports as my son says.

When I arrived at the stop, I saw so many people that I got scared. I thought there would be no room on the bus, but the prosecutor explained to me that this stop serves several routes throughout the island. It was only rush hour and that's why the commotion.

So we embarked on this new road, discovering and adapting and above all, valuing the experience. It is not only to economize, it is to grow together, to open our eyes to the new and enjoy the process, even if all this implies leaving our comfort zone, there are times when it is just and necessary.
