Hoy quiero compartirles una parte de nuestro día. Lleve a Gaby a Rattan Plaza porque tenía su ensayo especial para la presentación de lírico que sería este fin de semana. Ella estaba emocionada, concentrada y feliz de cumplir con algo que realmente le apasiona. Cómo debíamos esperar a que mi otro hijo terminara su entrenamiento, el cual es muy cerca y como el calor afuera estaba insoportable, después del ensayo decidí llevarla al parque que está dentro del supermercado. Ese lugar siempre me ha parecido una maravilla ya que mientras la gente hace mercado, los niños pueden jugar media hora y si no está lleno, renovar el tiempo hasta tres veces.
El parque está recién remodelado. Ahora tiene un área para los más pequeñitos y otra para los grandecitos. Gaby ya está en la talla máxima, en el tope de 1.48m, pero como estaba solita la dejaron entrar sin problema. Mientras ella drenaba energía y disfrutaba, yo aprovechaba para almorzar a las cuatro de la tarde. Así es la vida de mamá, una corredera constante, pero llena de amor. No me quejo, porque mientras pueda acompañar a mis hijos en sus actividades, ahí estaré.
Al final de la tarde, cuando ya nos íbamos, su tía le envió dinero y pude comprarle un helado. Ese detalle cerró el día con broche de oro. Gaby cumplió con sus responsabilidades, practicó lo que ama, jugó, se divirtió y terminó con una sonrisa enorme disfrutando su heladito. Un día sencillo, pero perfecto. Gracias por leerme, mamis de esta hermosa comunidad.

Hi, friends atToday I want to share a bit of our day with you. I took Gaby to Rattan Plaza because she had a special rehearsal for the lyrical dance performance coming up this weekend. She was excited, focused, and happy to be doing something she’s truly passionate about. Since we had to wait for my other son to finish his practice—which is very close by—and because the heat outside was unbearable, after rehearsal I decided to take her to the playground inside the supermarket. I’ve always thought that place is wonderful because while people are grocery shopping, the kids can play for half an hour, and if it’s not crowded, they can go back up to three times.
The park has just been remodeled. It now has an area for the little ones and another for the older kids. Gaby is already at the maximum height limit of 1.48m, but since she was by herself, they let her in without any problem. While she was burning off energy and having fun, I took the opportunity to have lunch at four in the afternoon. That’s life as a mom—a constant rush, but full of love. I’m not complaining, because as long as I can accompany my kids in their activities, I’ll be there.
At the end of the afternoon, just as we were leaving, her aunt sent her some money, and I was able to buy her an ice cream. That little gesture was the perfect way to end the day. Gaby fulfilled her responsibilities, practiced what she loves, played, had fun, and ended the day with a huge smile, enjoying her little ice cream. A simple day, but a perfect one.
