¿Navidad en septiembre? La Navidad llegó a las tiendas antes de que terminemos de organizar el regreso a clases [ESP-ENG]

Hola, amigos de @homesolutions espero que estén teniendo un buen fin de semana en sus hogares.

Hoy les quiero contar una anécdota que me dejó pensando. Mi hija practica lírico en una academia que queda justo en el centro comercial donde está la tienda "Mango Bajito" que es una súper inmensa tienda donde se consigue de todo para el hogar y los precios son accesibles, para mí hay para todos los gustos.

Entonces por lo general, esa hora y media que ella pasa en sus ensayos, es mi momento de desconexión, aprovecho de hacer compras en las tiendas que están cerca y por supuesto también entro a mango bajito para dar una vueltas por todos los pasillos.

Bueno resulta que mi hija salió de vacaciones el 14 de agosto y mi última visita a la tienda fue ese mismo día. Así que tomé varias fotos con la idea de publicar algo, pero entre el ajetreo diario se me pasó y nunca subí el post.

Hoy, 22 de septiembre, regresé porque necesitaba buscar unas cositas para las loncheras de los niños ahora que ha arrancado el nuevo año escolar y no se imaginan la sorpresa que me lleve, todavía no hemos terminado de salir de los gastos de uniformes, cuadernos y útiles para el regreso a clases y la tienda ya nos recibe con un pasillo larguísimo y paredes completas del piso al techo con adornos de navidad. Por si fuera poco, ya se escuchan gaitas y villancicos de fondo mientras caminas por los pasillos.

De verdad fue un choque demasiado grande ver los artículos escolares junto con las luces navideñas. Es increíble cómo corre el año y cómo el comercio nos adelanta las estaciones sin anestesia. Eso sí, confieso que aunque me dio un poquito de ansiedad pensar en lo rápido que pasa el tiempo, la música de fondo me activó la nostalgia navideña y ya sueño con que llegue las navidades aunque eso represente más gastos, pero el hecho de tener a toda la familia reunida en la mesa compartiendo la cena me llena de alegría y más pensando que este año si Dios quiere tendremos la casa llena con mis sobrinos caraqueños.

Today I want to share a story with you that really got me thinking. My daughter takes ballet classes at a studio located right in the shopping center where the Mango Bajito store is—it’s a huge store where you can find everything for the home, and the prices are affordable; for me, there’s something for everyone.

So usually, during the hour and a half she spends at her rehearsals, that’s my time to unwind. I take the opportunity to shop at the nearby stores, and of course, I also pop into Mango Bajito to wander through all the aisles.

Well, it turns out my daughter left on vacation on August 14, and my last visit to the store was that very same day. So I took several photos with the intention of posting something, but amid the daily hustle and bustle, I forgot about it and never uploaded the post.

Today, September 22, I went back because I needed to pick up a few things for the kids’ lunchboxes now that the new school year has started. And you can’t imagine my surprise: We haven’t even finished paying for the back-to-school uniforms, notebooks, and supplies yet, and the store is already greeting us with a super-long aisle and walls covered from floor to ceiling with Christmas decorations. As if that weren’t enough, you can already hear bagpipes and Christmas carols playing in the background as you walk through the aisles.

It really was a bit of a shock to see school supplies right next to the Christmas lights. It’s incredible how fast the year goes by and how retailers rush us into the next season without warning. That said, I have to admit that even though it made me a little anxious to think about how quickly time flies, the background music sparked my Christmas nostalgia, and I’m already dreaming of Christmas arriving—even if that means more expenses. But the thought of having the whole family gathered around the table sharing dinner fills me with joy, especially knowing that this year, God willing, we’ll have the house full of my nieces and nephews from Caracas.
