Mi visita a Damasco en el Centro Comercial Sambil, una experiencia que vale la pena contar [ESP-ENG]

Hola, mi gente querida de @hivemargarita, les saludo y deseo que puedan tener un maravilloso fin de semana de semana.

Hoy quiero compartirles una experiencia agradable que tuve recientemente y que creo que muchos deberían vivir también. Ya saben que esta comunidad es para mostrar lo bonito de nuestra isla, lo que vamos descubriendo y lo que vale la pena recomendar, así que aquí por aquí les dejo mi aporte de hoy.

Hace poco decidí ir a conocer la tienda Damasco, la que está en el Centro Comercial Sambil. Había escuchado comentarios, pero no había tenido la oportunidad de pasarme por allí. Aproveché que andaba por el centro comercial y como la habían inaugurado hace poco dije, "Bueno, vamos a ver qué tal es esto" y les digo algo con toda sinceridad, quedé impresionada.

Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue la cantidad de cosas que tienen dentro de un espacio que, a simple vista, parece pequeño. Pero apenas entras te das cuenta de que está súper bien distribuido, todo ordenadito, bonito y con una presentación que de verdad invita a quedarse un rato viendo. Se nota que cuidan su marca, porque todo está alineado con la imagen de Damasco y eso da una sensación de calidad que uno agradece.

La atención también fue un punto a su favor. Los vendedores son amables, atentos, te explican sin apuro y sin esa presión incómoda de “¿va a llevar?”. Además, tienen varias cajas, algo que también es un punto a su favor, porque nadie quiere pasar media vida haciendo cola. Todo se hace rápido y eso suma muchísimo al momento.

Yo fui específicamente porque una comadre que está afuera me había pedido averiguar precios de aires acondicionados. Ya yo había estado consultando por otros lados, así que tenía una idea de cuánto podía costar. Y aquí viene lo bueno, los precios en Damasco están muy bien, no solo en aires, sino en todos los electrodomésticos. Comparando con otras tiendas, que visitamos siempre, me pareció que estaban muy bien. Me quedé con las ganas de volver cuando pueda hacer un gasto para mi casa, porque vi varias cositas que me gustaron.

La tienda está muy bien adornada, con un ambiente agradable que hace que uno se sienta cómodo. Y repito la atención, maravillosa. De verdad que da gusto cuando uno entra a un lugar y lo tratan bien, porque eso hace que uno quiera regresar. Otro dato curioso aceptan el método de crédito "Cashea" para poder pagar en cómodas cuotas.

Como esta comunidad es para dar a conocer lo mejor de nuestra isla, quiero aprovechar para invitar a todos a que se den una vuelta por Damasco en el Sambil. Vayan, miren, comparen, pregunten y formen su propia percepción. A mí me gustó la experiencia y creo que a muchos también les puede sorprender.

Today I want to share a pleasant experience I had recently—one I think many of you should try as well. As you know, this community is all about showcasing the beauty of our island, the things we discover, and the places worth recommending, so here’s my contribution for today.

I recently decided to check out the Damasco store, the one in the Sambil Shopping Center. I’d heard people talking about it, but I hadn’t had a chance to stop by. I took advantage of the fact that I was walking through the mall, and since it had just opened, I said, “Well, let’s see what this is all about,” and I’ll tell you something in all honesty—I was impressed.

The first thing that caught my eye was the sheer amount of merchandise they have in a space that, at first glance, seems small. But as soon as you walk in, you realize it’s laid out really well—everything is neat, attractive, and displayed in a way that truly invites you to linger and browse. You can tell they take pride in their brand, because everything aligns with Damasco’s image, and that conveys a sense of quality that’s really appreciated.

The service was also a plus. The salespeople are friendly and attentive; they explain things to you without rushing and without that uncomfortable pressure of “Are you going to buy this?” Plus, they have several checkout lanes, which is another plus, because nobody wants to spend half their life waiting in line. Everything moves quickly, and that really adds to the experience.

I went there specifically because a friend of mine who lives out of town had asked me to check out the prices on air conditioners. I’d already been looking around elsewhere, so I had a rough idea of how much they might cost. And here’s the best part: the prices at Damasco are really good—not just on air conditioners, but on all appliances. Compared to other stores we usually visit, I thought they were a great deal. I’m eager to go back when I’m ready to make a purchase for my home, because I saw several little things I liked.

The store is beautifully decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable. And I’ll say it again—the service is wonderful. It’s truly a pleasure when you walk into a place and are treated well, because that makes you want to come back. Another interesting fact: they accept the "Cashea" credit method so you can pay in convenient installments.

Since this community is meant to showcase the best of our island, I want to take this opportunity to invite everyone to stop by Damasco at Sambil. Go, look around, compare, ask questions, and form your own opinion. I enjoyed the experience, and I think many of you might be pleasantly surprised as well.
