After the storm comes the calm! Recovered my son, children back to school their second home and what better return than a share to enjoy the joy that traditional carnivals represent.
Hello my friends from Motherhood, I'm here to say hello and wish you a wonderful weekend from now on. I wanted to share with you how happy I feel today because after my son was fully recovered, finally on Tuesday my two children returned to school. In other posts I have told you that in the school where my children study, in addition to being small, there is a high enrollment, so for this reason they see class in two groups and distribute them as follows: one week they go Monday, Tuesday, Friday and the next week They go Tuesday and Thursday.
My son Santiago fell ill on February 5, but since January 20 they had suspended face-to-face classes at school. The fact is that when classes restarted on February 7, my children could not go because they had to recover Santiago first.
Already fully recovered and after spending a reasonable time after the last symptom disappeared, finally this week they returned to their classrooms. You don't know how happy I feel to see how my children are happy and come back even happier. They come from school with each experience, with each anecdote and for me the most important thing is that they are happy.
On other occasions I have commented on how important it is for me that children be able to be in their classrooms, that it be their teacher who explains each school content to them, that they can share with their classmates who in many cases have known each other since they were very little For me, that has immense value. I know that there are parents who prefer their children to be at home and to be able to give them classes because they have the basic knowledge to guide them, but in my case I don't have it and far from helping them, I feel that what I am doing is delaying them. So because I love my children, it is of the utmost importance that they return to school.
The truth is that these days at school there have been many recreational activities and enjoyment because last week the day of love and friendship was celebrated at school, at that time my children did not go but my daughter Gabriela did I prepare a friendship card for her best friend, I want them to know that it was her own inspiration, the design and content was made by herself, I just asked her dad to buy her a chocolate lollipop, I felt it was appropriate for the occasion.
She also wrote a letter to her teacher that was very nice and significant, and I brought her cookies. This week that she returned to school, I give each of her details that she herself has prepared.
My son Santiago is the one I am teaching those values to be thoughtful, to be courteous and sweet, I know as a man it is more difficult for them to be thoughtful, it is more difficult for them to do a craft, however, he always tells me mommy and there is no cookie for my teacher, that's how they are when they go to homework assignments, that's how they are with the beings to whom they show affection.
However, he also brought his teacher some cookies and his best friend couldn't give him cookies because he didn't show up that day. For me it is super valuable to know that they have their friends and consider them their best friends, every time my daughter talks about her friend she refers to her best friend and my son Santiago has a super friend since he was 3 years old and until now they study together that fills me with satisfaction although sometimes he is sad because his friend does not go and then according to him, he will feel lonely, the same thing happened in soccer, I tell him to cheer up that there are other classmates, but I understand that he sees him as his person trustworthy, that is, your best friend.
I am proud of that, I remember when I was a little girl there was always a nice detail for my teachers, something small but that represented the love I felt for them, my mom instilled those values in my brothers and me, that's why we are all always aware of a detail that does not necessarily have to be expensive, it is like when someone visits your home you must be attentive, friendly and cordial, be aware that it is offered to the people who visit your home so that they get a good impression of you.
Another thing that characterizes me and which I always emphasize to my children is learning the value of reciprocity and being grateful, today those values have been lost, sometimes I think it is because of the situation we are going through in the country both economically and socially, which leads us to not be able to comply and what is so valuable that being a retailer is lost. But on the other hand I think no, it is not that because with little you can do a lot, a wrapped chocolate, with a bow or a cookie with a card, it is a detail that has value for someone who we should thank for something that are doing for us at that moment.
The value of gratitude is a super important value that I have tried to cultivate in my children, that gesture that we make to repay people for something they have done for us, that, although in many cases it is done and it is without expecting something in return, it is never else the action.
On the other hand, and no less important, another of the celebrations that took place at the school was a sharing for the carnivals to be held in the coming days, so each child was asked to bring a snack to share, they played music and had fun. In the case of my daughter's room, as it is for the younger children, they asked for a material and made a mask, which filled Gabriela with great emotion, great satisfaction. They danced, they ate, that is, they really enjoyed that special day, that is something wonderful for children.
I remember when I was little, with how much emotion my mother and my aunt used to take my cousins, my brothers and me to see the carnivals, we would go in a small cart that my aunt had but we all entered there, it was such great fun to be able to share those days, the joy was immense, today I try to continue with that tradition with my children every year their father and I take them to see the carnivals to the different sectors where they are presented, even 3 years ago we were able to participate in the carnivals of our municipality with an ecological float that we put together, it was another time, but I remember how much fun my children had. This year I promise to take you to see their carnivals where there is joy and fun, there we will be trying to get the children out of the routine, it is free, nothing like being able to spend a pleasant time with the family. I promise then to make a post with reference to the carnival and its photos, plus what the children enjoy on those days of fun.
Dear friends of this wonderful community, I thank you for always reading and supporting me in the stories of my family life.
