My teeth marks are in the top of this coconut shell. Is that gross to show you? Maybe – but now you know how dedicated I am to my cause of eating every bit of these coconuts.
If I had done things right, I would have had a beautiful ball of coconut, deliciously filled with water so you can just pop a straw in there. My friend’s dad can do this with his eyes closed as can many who sell these on the street.
Sadly, I had to destroy every last bit of all six coconuts. I never improved after this one and some were much worse. Once you break the top like this, your teeth are the only way to get the meat. It will not yield to the flimsy spoon.
It’s possible that the coconuts are related to the reason why my keyboard is broken now and I am typing on the laptop very unhappily. (Thanks to Steemit, a new keyboard is on it’s way.)

I’m glad I got these six coconuts, even if they were a lot of work. In future, I’m buying them one by one in a proper state to drink from and then eat. I don’t feel that developing my coconut opening skills is a good use of time and effort for me now. Especially not when I have professionals right outside my door.
