Writing about my daily life isn't my usual way of doing things. I have learned to structure my writing style around motivational, teaching, technical writing, and cryptocurrency report over the years in my writing journey on various blogging platforms.
However, I have discovered that writing about one's daily life or events around one's life is one authentic way to show that you are not a robot or clone but someone who truly lives what he writes about.
The era of using Artificial Intelligence AI for writing is gradually pushing its way harder, so much so that it's becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between genuine people with real lives and robots in the writing world. And it appears that the self-promoting hackers are winning the battle.
Nevertheless, genuine people who are passionate about their writing careers will still find their voices and be heard despite all the robots writing on social media.
Writing about one's daily life and events is one of the ways humans can defeat AI in writing. Sure, AI can craft an article in minutes, mainly on generalized issues or topics such as love, hate, life, fictional stories, etc, but how will AI determine what to write about your experiences?
The most important thing when writing about one's life or events is staying true to one's heart and not feeling guilty. The emotions, the feelings, and the frustration are much deeper than what AI could write in an article.
Even, in technical writing that requires research and references, AI can never be accurate and will most likely give outdated information. This is another way human writers defeated AI. The more accurate and detailed the content, the more evidence it's the work of a human writer.
Another area human writers defeated AI is the colloquialism and outdated tenses usage in most AI-generated text. Words such as "in other to", "so therefore", and double-negative words such as " their own" frequented AI-generated pieces of writing. Vogue words such as "really", "ultimately", and "definitely" are also very common in AI writing. Moreover, AI has the weakness of repeating a part of the writing over and over again within the discussion.
Should we be bothered about AI taking our writing platforms? Should we fear it? No.
AI writers can so fast that humans cannot compete with it by speed. However, that's not a threat. There are ways humans can fight robots, which is to write real-life stories. We can talk about our everyday lives, thoughts, struggle, and experiences without worrying about being found out as robots.
There will still be natural interactions between humans, and you will know from there if the writer is true or not. The engagement will be more real, engaging, and genuine than what a fake AI user can create.
I know so many people are using AI writers on social blogging platforms right now, especially Chat GPT. They can use it to make good money, but the content is not natural or real. AI can never be objective and impersonal. It can never show your heart. You need a human being to do that and not just an algorithm with a voice.
We need to talk about our true selves in writing. We need to be passionate and relate our experiences to our readers.
I believe that with AI being used in blogging platforms, it's our job to take our writing and create new ways humans can beat robots. It's our challenge, and we will show the robots who are real storytellers.
I hope you will find your voice and stay true to yourself in your writing.
