Good morning.
Plans have already been made for Christmas Eve dinner, the most important of the year in my family tradition, but this is the year of uncertainty and I don't know for sure how we will celebrate on this occasion.
I was counting on us brothers to meet, but forceful circumstances will postpone the meeting, the children make their lives and distance keeps us united through the means of technological communication and if they are close, they now form their own family and new ties create commitments .
I don't know, there could be only two of us at the table, although I don't think so. I am still prepared to celebrate in installments if necessary. A special lunch this Saturday with those who are nearby and if they are there next week, we will grace the table again.
I will ask the Almighty for special dispensation for the gluttony and excess committed in the coming days, and I will keep the hope of not paying the consequences.
I already know that the brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law will not appear until after the new year, when they rest from the hard work they expect to have these days in their various food and beverage businesses.
To them, as well as to my clients, I wish a prosperous Christmas and a very happy new year. My special wish is that you enjoy that happiness and achieve balance, work and enjoyment.
I do not expect work for the remaining days of the year, if it arises it will be welcome and except for the payments that remain to be received and last minute purchases, everything will be buy and spend. Moderately, it is the year that is ending, nothing more. On January 2 or 3, the world will continue to spin and it will be better to have ours in place and the foresight to not walk uphill until payment day.
A while on foot and another walking, working a little and celebrating, now, the Nativity of Jesus and then life, health, family and together with all the gifts received, thanking the Creator.
Thank you thank you thank you.
The only Christmas decoration in this year of austerity, a family tradition that was sometimes accompanied by a tree and lights in the windows.
Happiness and see you tomorrow.
