One of the reasons why many relationships don’t last is because partners never make time for each other. They get so busy in making a living and they forget to enjoy the person God has placed in their lives.

If you want to have a happy and a long-lasting relationship that leads to marriage, or you want to maintain your marriage, spare time for your partner. Fix a weekend and meet your partner. Go to the beach and enjoy the cool breeze, attend seminars and conferences together, visit each others friends.

Go to the cinema and watch a movie, go for a romantic candlelit dinner, go for a tour, go to shopping malls together once in a while, create time and talk with each other at length especially in a distant relationship where you don't see often, go for a moonlit walk or stay home together.

Help each other with domestic work. As a married man, don't come back from work and sit watching football or a program on television while your wife is doing all the chores in the kitchen and later, when you want to make love to her that same night and she says she's very tired, you'll get angry.

Why won't she be tired when both of you are civil servants, she comes back from WORK and goes to the market, buy food stuffs, attend to the children, cook , bath the children and rather than help her out since there's no house maid, you sit like a statue and watch the television....

I must tell u, you are maltreating your wife which simply means you are maltreating yourself because she's your own body. She may hide her pains from you but deep down, she pines away.

Both of you should watch romantic movies together to strengthen your love for each other, snap photographs for memory sake, exchange gifts, share secrets with each other and have some fun. Stop making your partner your last option; make him/ her your first priority....he/she is your significant other. Whatever you sow into the life of your partner is what you reap. Sow love, you'll reap love. Sow selfishness and you'll reap selfishness a hundred fold.
