I am lucky enough to see this feathered visitor every now and then outside of my apartment. I've lived here two years now and have only seen this one just twice. Normally, this is a wire occupied by the local squirrel taking a short cut, morning doves, and the occasional murder of crows. But today, at this moment, the hawk takes a perch and checks out the local scene, with nothing questioning its position.
