A few years ago, I was invited to take photos at a rodeo event. For a few months, I attended every competition, and it was a great learning experience. First, I want to make it clear that I am not in favor of any form of animal abuse.
I don’t think I’d ever used my old D610 at such a high ISO before. Given that there was so much movement, I had to increase the shutter speed, and the low light didn’t allow for any other option. Even with a lot of noise, I think the results were aceptable. I was able to capture some truly incredible scenes. I never would have thought that bulls of that size would be able to jump so high that it looked like they were flying.
