This post says so because it all started yesterday on the famous Valentine's Day. In many countries it is celebrated and has a lot of importance as in the United States and these last years it is also being celebrated a lot in Buenos Aires. It doesn't bother me at all in fact I think it's great that people celebrate but I was going to be eating at home and my girlfriend with a friend so I went to train and when I came out I thought of sending a message to my grandmother and partner of adventures Celina. I texted her and asked her: do you want to celebrate our NO-Valentine's Day, she said ok, and 40 minutes later I was at the door of her house ringing the doorbell.
A week ago she wanted to go to a cantina in the neighborhood that she didn't know. Since I had been there a while ago she wanted to meet him so we took an Uber and went to dinner.
Last night was beautiful enough to eat out. It wasn't cold by any chance and there was a gentle breeze that comforted you and we both agreed to sit outside. We were served right away and in no time we had ordered dinner. She didn't want the grill which is like the specialty of that place so she ordered her pasta and I ordered a very particular milanesa with a side of pasta something that you rarely see in a restaurant and is something that you can mostly eat at home or at your grandmother's and I was forgetting the important thing, always a beer to share.
The food arrived quicker than we thought and we started to enjoy ourselves talking a little bit about our week that we saw very little of each other and catching up and remembering some anecdotes. The truth is that the place outside looked very nice and I asked him if he wanted to go and see it but he was comfortable there so I got up and went to see what it was like.
When I went in I was surprised to find that it was full of people eating although it is not huge, but all the tables were full and the place looked very nice. I can imagine that it was once an old house and over its original structure they designed the restaurant and to my taste it really looked great. I asked if I could take some pictures and without any problem they said yes.
We finished dinner and both of us were very full, to the point of not being able to finish my plate and I haven't even told you another curiosity about it. For those who do not know the milanesa is a thick slice of meat that is passed through raw egg xonsimentado with salt pepper and whatever you want and then remove it from the egg and pass it through breadcrumbs and then baked or fried vomo is done in the restaurant but this time that milanesa was a thick steak with rib included, so it is huge without counting the noodles that came with a bomb.
So with a full belly and a happy heart we went to Domir having celebrated our day. The day of the grandchild and the grandmother.
