Last Friday, we traveled all the way to Legazpi to attend the first day of our regional convention.
We got to the venue early, so we picked the best spot right near the stage.
I learned so much that day about real happiness. The speaker shared something that really stuck with me. It's about the big difference between laughter and true happiness. He said laughter comes and goes, but deep joy stays in our hearts. He also told us that God is not called a “laughing God”... He is a happy God. That means as His children, we are also made to have that lasting, true happiness too. It grows when we take care of our spiritual needs, not just when something funny makes us laugh.
After the session ended, we then went to the hotel.
Our room was on the third floor, so we needed to use the elevator to get there.
While on our way, I paused to snap a quick picture... and there was Aiden, waiting patiently for me.
Hahaha, he looked so innocent!
Then, as we went inside the room, a mirror selfie was a must!
We just rested a little, then my sister knocked and asked what our plan was for dinner.
We were choosing between two nearby restaurants, Mang Inasal or Jollibee... And because everyone wanted grilled chicken, we went to Mang Inasal just beside the hotel.
We ordered one unli-rice set for my hubby, plus three regular solo meals for the rest of us. But when the food arrived, there were two green plates for unli rice. My sister and I looked at each other, confused. Thinking... Maybe they changed how they serve it?
Then, while eating, the server came by and asked if we wanted more rice. That’s when we laughed, because both the green plates that my sister and I had were for the unli-rice we ordered!
We checked our receipt... but sure enough, we only paid for one unli rice. 😅
What a funny little mix-up 😂
We then ate until we were full, then went back to the hotel to rest.
Until my next happy moments...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
