It was that state that is very difficult to describe in words...I just walked around the city and caught the light. Immediately I realized one thing: to catch a beautiful light, you need to plunge into darkness. And I have been familiar with this for a long time, only not in photographic terms, but in everyday life.
As a child, I always liked to look out the window in the evening, while turning off the light. It would seem that this is how banal physics works. If you turn off the light in the room, then the darkness will be visible, and if you turn it on, you will be visible in the room, but you will not see the dark street.
I did not know these laws of physics yet, but I felt how it works and used it in my everyday life. I know how to make myself invisible. Everyone is afraid of dark places, parks, squares, alleys. I feel comfortable and protected there. But at the same time my point of view, my perception are directed towards light.
I still do this, only I also apply it in photography. Here too the laws of physics, but also psychology. I become so invisible to the outside world.
Being in the dark, I watch the world like in a movie. You just need to feel this state. Immediately you become sober, the world seems to be an ordinary decoration, and people are like extras.
It is a pity that such a state does not last long. And it is impossible, otherwise society will immediately take care of it and send it to the madhouse. In society, you need to live by its rules, otherwise it will defend itself against people like me and simply destroy.
And so, the state. I still can't find words to explain it, because it is at a frequency where there are no such words. Here is a shadow. Everything in the shade is my world.
I also try to be in the shadows in life in general. Only the underground is real, as soon as it becomes pop, it loses its self.
Being in the light, we see only light and shadow, but what exactly is in the shadow can be very difficult to see. Especially when the light is bright and you are blinded by it.
But when you are in the shade, you can see everything from there: what is in the shade and what is in the light.
This is how the whole world works.
