My menu 1st Iftar in Ramadan: Ice Pudding Pumpkin, kolang-kaling, dates, and dragon fruit
Today is the first fasting day in the month of Ramadan, to break the fast later I make ice pudding pumpkin, kolang-kaling, dates and dragon fruit. I made this menu, because I have pudding pumpkin and dragon fruit pudding in the refrigerator. So I thought, why not just use the existing materials to save money. 😄
That's why there is Ice Pudding is served, dates, fruit and fro and dragon fruit. Here we go, let's follow my journey to prepare the iftar menu 😊
Prepared ingredients
• Pumpkin pudding cut into cubes (Pudding I made earlier)
• 50 grams of kolang and koling, wash thoroughly
• 20 grams of dates, remove the seeds
• 100 cc of coconut milk
• 250 ml Water
• Palm sugar
• dragon fruit, diced
• A pinch of salt
• A pinch of vanilla
• 1 rip banana
Cooking Steps
• Boil the water
• Add palm sugar
• Put the banana slices, add a pinch of salt and vanilla, so that the ice has a taste and smells good
• Enter repeatedly for a while
• Add coconut milk and stir
• add pumpkin puding
• Turn off the stove
• When the Ice Pudding will be served add dates and dragon fruit to beautify the dish
• Put in the serving bowl, ready to served.
Even though no sugar is added, this ice pudding already tastes sweet, because it's added with dates.
Pumpkin ice pudding, kolang-kaling, dates and dragon fruit are enough to make iftar a day full of meaning. Even though this Ramadan, I am still don't together with my family, because of the pandemic outbreak has not been normal. Hopefully in the next year I can celebrate Ramadan among my beloved family in Indonesia 💓.
