Hello to all the friends in this community, which not only repairs household items but also heals the soul, because when we manage to fix something at home—no matter how small—it brings us great joy, and this translates into well-being.

Today I bring you one of those moments when my heart beat faster than usual. The reason for these happy heartbeats is precisely the subject of today's post.

alt

Here it is.

These past few days I've been doing some renovations around the house; I've already shared some of them with the community. But today I won't be talking about a renovation, but about another action that brought me a lot of "light," literally, because after three days in total darkness in my room, I finally got what I needed to solve the problem.

alt

It turns out that my room's lamp and fluorescent tube had been installed for a very long time. I don't know exactly how long, but I know it was longer than what seems reasonable for the lifespan of these items. Apparently, when I connected the electric shower, a short circuit occurred, and when that problem was fixed, the room was left in darkness.

I had a hard time because I didn't have a replacement lamp to change, although I did have the fluorescent tube. After two days of relentless searching, the much-desired lamp finally appeared. alt

The next step was to find an electrician to fix the power problem in my room so that the much-awaited electricity would finally arrive. alt

alt

It was a process that lasted a little over 40 minutes. Since the room was dark, I had to find a rechargeable lamp to provide light so the electrician could see and proceed with the repair.

After removing the damaged wires, replacing the broken lamp, and measuring the voltage at the installation point, he proceeded to install the lamp and the tube.

When the electrician told me to flip the switch and the light came on, an immense joy coursed through my entire body.

Finally, the light returned to my room.
