(Esp/Eng) Mi primer seminario presencial del 2026/ My first in-person seminar of 2026
Espe
The year is progressing, and we are already in the second week, almost halfway through January, and curiously, it has not felt as long as other years. I believe it has to do with the fact that I am living more in the present, and that is something I feel and value.
We are starting 2026 with everything.
This second week brought the start of in-person workshops and seminars at the Entrepreneurial Development Department, where I've been working for quite some time. Although we've grown a lot with virtual events, which have allowed us to reach more people, even outside the municipality and in different parts of Argentina, we decided to hold this first workshop of the year in person because face-to-face contact matters.
The seminar was about how to create an annual content plan for social media.
And it was very special for one simple reason: I was able to meet in person people we had been seeing on a screen. This time it wasn't a hello on Zoom, it was looking at each other, talking, sharing, and laughing. It was beautiful.
It was also a fairly analog workshop, and I say that with love. We printed everything and gave them templates to work with the material in hand, and that completely changed the dynamic.
First, we reviewed what an annual content plan is, how it is developed, and why it is important. We talked about the advantages it gives you in terms of strategy, production, and clarity. When you have a plan, you stop improvising out of exhaustion and start building with intention.
Then we focused on what actions each person wants to take and how to align them with their brand values. We also talked about the importance of having defined content pillars and how to vary those pillars without losing your way. When you are clear about your goal, your values, who you are talking to, and what you want the person to feel when interacting with you, it becomes much easier to create.
And the best thing was that, since it was a small group of 12 or 13 people, there was an intimate atmosphere, like a gathering of friends. On Zoom, there are usually between 100 and 200 people, and it's difficult for everyone to speak or share their opinions, but that wasn't the case here. Here, everyone was really listened to. They talked about what they were doing, the mistakes they had made, what had worked for them and what hadn't, and that was very valuable.
We were all around a table鈥攚ell, it was square鈥攁nd we worked on something that I think is key: differentiating between commercial dates, reference dates, and our own dates. When you understand that, the content calendar stops being chaotic and becomes a strategic tool.
They left very happy, equipped with tools, clarity, and a real desire to get to work. We repeat something like a mantra because it's true: 10 percent of something is better than 100 percent of nothing.
I was happy, very happy to start the year this way, very grateful to continue being part of the Entrepreneurial Development Department, and with the feeling that 2026 will bring great things.
Sending you a huge hug,
Hope
