It was an intentionally short yet strange run this afternoon.
I had barely enough time to put in the mandatory two miles between work and family affairs.
I went to the Magpie's Valley to enjoy its meadows.
At the turning point, where I was taking the photo above, the phone rang. Office called that the production deployment procedure for our software got stuck. I sprinted home and went straight to the computer to log in and check the issue. After some fiddling the hickup was fixed and the production environment was stable again.
It was a stupid mistake that we programmers do occasionally. A missing semicolon in of the SQL scripts that nobody caught while testing. The mistake went by unnoticed until it was time to use the frontend code on the production.
You can see from the profile bellow where I was photographing and talking on the phone and how the pace was higher on the way back.
After this fix I had barely enough time to take a shower and drive to the concert in our local music school. It was an end-of-the-year concert for the guitar class and we enjoyed it immensely. These kids know their strings :)
