Today’s extra steps came from a decision that took less than a minute.

After lunch, I almost did what I usually used to do—sit down, grab my phone, and tell myself I’d move later. Instead, I went for a short walk. Nothing ambitious, just a few minutes outside. Funny enough, that small choice seemed to set the tone for the rest of the day.

The morning had already started well with a walk, some light jogging, and a few exercises. Then came the usual daily activities, another stroll after dinner, and a handful of those little moments where I chose movement instead of convenience.

By the end of the day, I was sitting at 13k steps.

What stands out to me is how rarely progress comes from one big effort. Most of the time, it comes from tiny decisions that barely feel important when you're making them. A short walk here, taking the longer route there, getting up when it's easier to stay seated.
