A perpetual stranger,
traveling down
this dark, narrow,
and beautifully
twisted trip
of blissful contradiction
with heart wide open,
absorbing all
this life has
to give while
trying to balance
on this razor’s edge
in peace and harmony,
ever so thankful
for each stinging wound
and every healing laugh.
Each step
brings us closer
to a place of almost
perfect completeness,
where we awaken
in a wisdom so deep
that we begin
to cast aside
the menagerie of
our favorite demons
and finally realize
that love is the
only thing that
truly matters.
