Choice - Original Poetry by Krisz Rokk

You came to Earth
to experience choice
only to find out
you’ve chosen before.

Was the story already written?
Resignation or radical action?
What’s the point?

Make a choice.

You awaken to the noise
surround yourself with beautiful souls
who won’t bow down to the clown show
Now that is a dangerous choice.
Or not at all?

You walk out the door
wondering
observing
remembering
the different roads
leading you to the default.

There’s nothing to choose from
you hear yourself screaming
from an illusory rooftop.

Dance your way through reality’s décor
Create memories
interwoven with spectacular experiences.
Enjoy mystical droplets of bliss
impregnated immaculately
onto your canvas of existence
as you choose to stay in the game
and stop looking for an exit.

Stillness.
Inner peace.
Flooding the gates
of a stubborn species.
You chose to resist
despite the many trials and tribulations
to cut you off from life’s precious libraries.
But then again
you’re the prisoner
the warden
and the architect
who chose to build the planetary grids.
