Hoy de nuevo con ustedes en ésta hermosa comunidad de Hive Diy compartiendo una linda Paletera hecha de arcilla.

Continuando con los trabajos de artesanías en arcilla, hoy elaboré una linda paletera o porta cubiertos para escurrirlo después de lavarlos.
Es una pieza totalmente elaborada a mano, realizada con la técnica de las placas, también es una pieza muy decorarativa, con unas flores y hojas de girasoles hechas al relieve.

Continuing with the clay handicrafts, today I made a nice paletera or cutlery holder to drain after washing them. It is a piece entirely made by hand, made with the plate technique, it is also a very decorative piece, with flowers and sunflower leaves made in relief.

Ahora el paso a pasos.

Now the step by steps.

Preparé la arcilla dando pequeños golpes sobre el mesón para extraerle el exceso de ire.

I prepared the clay by gently taping it on the counter to extract the excess air.

Luego dibujé los patrones en cartulinas y los recorté en la placa de arcilla.

I then drew the patterns on card stock and cut them out on the clay plate.

Elaboré los centros de los girasoles, pétalos y hojas.

I elaborated the centers of the sunflowers, petals and leaves.

Después inicié el armado de la Paletera, uniendo las piezas con pega de arcilla.

Then I started assembling the Paletera, joining the pieces with clay glue.

Aquí continúe colocando la aplicación de las hojas y pétalos, unidos con pega de arcilla con el pincel.

Here continue placing the application of the leaves and petals, joined with clay glue with the brush.

Pará finalizar limpié bien las flores con una emponjas y el pincel.

To finish, I cleaned the flowers well with a sponge and the brush.
