From the low plains of my small house
I watched the World implode
Like a slow moving TV series
I saw disaster unfold
People going the wrong direction
An even greater number following blindly
I wondered if any would dare to question
But all too glad to act silly
There's clear danger ahead
why can't they see the signs
If only it would make a difference
I'd have shouted at the top of my lungs
Inevitably they crashed
and it wasn't a pretty sight
If only they could hear me I thought
or see things from where I stand
