Ingredients

πŸ¦ƒ 3 1/2 pounds ground turkey
πŸ§… 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
πŸ§„ 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
🌿 1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
πŸ₯š 1 egg
🌿 1 cup parmesan cheese
πŸ₯› 2 tablespoons milk
🍞 1 cup bread crumbs
πŸ§‚ 1 tablespoon salt
🌢️ 1 teaspoon black pepper
🌢️ 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
🌢️ 1 teaspoon paprika
🌿 1 teaspoon basil

Instructions

1- Preparation:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, onion, garlic, and parsley.
  • Add in the egg, parmesan cheese, milk, and bread crumbs. Mix well to combine.
  • Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, and basil. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2- Forming the Meatballs:

  • With your hands, form the mixture into meatballs. You can make them as large or as small as you prefer. Larger meatballs may be more suitable for a hearty meal, while smaller ones are great as appetizers.

3- Cooking:

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil if desired.
  • Place the meatballs in the skillet and sear them for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. You may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Once all meatballs are seared, place them in a pot of your preferred sauce. Cover and let simmer for an additional 20 minutes to ensure they are cooked through and absorb the flavors of the sauce.

4- Serving:

  • Serve hot with your choice of pasta or on a bed of fresh greens.
