Todays 47 mana battle was very interesting and I got the opportunity to play this battle with three challenging rulesets where I faced a tough defeat in 3 rounds. The game ended very quickly because of the double damage ruleset and the enemy's unit combination and reverse speed strategy worked better on the battlefield.

In any high mana battle with multiple restrictions it is important that you first understand every ruleset properly and then select your team accordingly. If you do this your chances of winning will become much higher.

When there are speed modifiers and attack type restrictions present every single pick matters a lot and one small mistake in card selection can cost you in the battle. That is why you need to have full focused when understanding the rulesets.

Before moving toward the battle breakdown and my strategy first lets understand the rulesets what is explained in these rulesets and what strategy and team combination I made according to them.

RULESET 1: FEROCITY

This is a ruleset where all units have Fury ability. And what does this Ferocity ruleset do? It deals double damage to any target that possesses the Taunt ability.

Because of this Ferocity ability relying on Taunt units becomes extremely risky because opposing attackers will strike them with double power.

According to this ruleset it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you avoid using Taunt cards or prepare heavy defense for the battle.

RULESET 2: REVERSE SPEED

This is a ruleset where units with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance to evade attacks.

And what does this Reverse Speed ruleset do? It completely flips the standard speed order making slower units act first on the turn order.

Normally it happens that higher speed will attach first but according to this ruleset the situation is reversed.

Because of this Reverse Speed ability bringing cards with high speed stat actually becomes a disadvantage because they will take their turns last.

According to this ruleset it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you pick slow heavy hitters with 1 or 2 speed so they can strike before the opponent.

RULESET 3: BROKEN ARROWS

This is a ruleset where you cannot summon units with ranged attacks. And what does this Broken Arrows ruleset do? It disables all ranged damage dealers from being selected.

Because of this Broken Arrows ability both players are forced to rely purely on melee and magic units.

According to this ruleset it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you build a strong lineup around melee front liners and magic attackers.

MY STRATEGY AND MONSTERS SELECTION

Keeping these three rulesets in mind what strategy did I adopt and which units did I select? I knew that under Broken Arrows I needed a mix of melee and magic and under Reverse Speed I needed slow units.

First of all I selected my Archon Marlai Singariel which gives +1 magic to my allied units. In normal battles this speed boost is very good but under Reverse Speed granting extra speed accidentally made my units slower in turn order.

On the front line in first position I selected my main front tank with high health and armor to take heavy hits.

In the second position I selected my second melee unit with reach ability with 2 speed to provide early attacks.

In the third position I selected my third melee card to add extra physical attack power. And also that have magic attack power where it continues to attack being at 3rd position.

The 4th and 5th position monsters were the mix of magic attackers that will continue to perform +2 magic attacks every round.

In the sixth position I selected my backline support card which has return ability as well.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

When I looked at the enemy lineup on the battlefield it was also quite interesting. They had brought a team that utilized slow units very well under Reverse Speed including a slow front tank with 2 speed.

The battle started with initial strikes coming from both sides. Heavy attacks continued till first round.

In Round 1 both sides traded hits. The enemy's slower units took advantage of Reverse Speed and attacked first taking down my front line defenses before my team could launch their full power.

In Round 2 the enemy pushed their advantage further. Their front line units dealt continuous damage and eliminated my main tank leaving my middle cards exposed.

In round 2, the battle was 5vs4 which was still interesting. But as round 3 started I realized that I have lost this battle.

In Round 3 the battle came to an end. My remaining magic unit tried to hold the position but the enemy's combined forces were too strong.

At the end of Round 3 I faced a defeat. The main reason was that I didnot understand the rulesets properly and I had wrong monster selections in the end.

What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which units would you give more preference to? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
