Ingredients

๐ฟ Fresh basil, a handful chopped
Ricotta Cheese Topping:
๐ง 1 cup Ricotta cheese
๐ง 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
๐ง 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
๐ฟ Fresh parsley
๐ฟ Fresh basil
๐ง Pinch of salt
๐ง Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
1- Cooking the Meat:
- Heat a large Dutch oven or large soup pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the garlic and onion, cooking for about 4-5 minutes until the onion is tender.
2- Adding Paste and Seasonings:
- Stir in the tomato paste and seasonings.
- Mix well until the tomato paste is fully combined and let cook for 2-3 minutes.
3- Introducing Liquids:
- Add the marinara sauce and chicken broth.
- Stir well, cover, and bring to a boil.
4- Cooking the Noodles:
- Drop in the broken lasagna noodles.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender (approximately 20-30 minutes).
5- Finalizing the Soup:
- Once noodles are cooked, stir in the heavy cream and chopped basil.
