I recently purchased a new Bosch Tassimo coffee machine. It's at the cheaper budget end of the scale, but it still produces a good cup of coffee. Since I've been frequenting coffee houses, it's very difficult to drink instant coffee these days.
Subsequently, I bought some Colombian Kenco coffee pods from my local supermarket. Currently, you can buy 3 boxes consisting of 16 pods for £13. As one box costs £5.50, it is cheaper to buy 3 boxes. The supermarket also has a recycling bank called a 'podback' for the plastic pods, which is good.
The machine is very easy to operate. Even I managed to do it. I placed a pod under the top of the lid. I filled the water container which isn't very big, but it will make 2 cups of coffee, so it is adequate for me. I then pressed the start button.
It wasn't long before I got a strong, frothy coffee. There's nothing like the smell of a freshly made cup of coffee. I very rarely have milk at home, but I think coffee always tastes much better without it. This is my second coffee machine. I think I wore the first one out!
