Sunshine And Birdies!…….My Actifit Report Card: February 13 2024
It was a sunshine and birdies sort of day!
My morning began with ladies Bible study. It was a good study on Biblical references of laying on of hands. It was interesting!
After I got home, we decided to head to the bay once again. As you can see from the first photo, it gorgeously sunny! 🌞 All of the aquatic birds were thinking so too as you will see in the following photos. This little black duck was busy diving for fish? Algae? Seaweed? I wasn’t really sure but he would disappear longer than I liked, and then reappear for a few minutes before doing it again.
I later spied him on the underneath side of the boardwalk.
A crow landed on the railing in front of us as if to pose for this picture.
The day was an adventure with so much to see! I had another lovely close encounter with a freight train and have a ton of Alfred, the Seagull pictures for an entire post dedicated to nothing but! One last photo I’ll share from today was a congregation of many ducks under the boardwalk.
Does anyone know if there is a different species of ducks for saltwater versus freshwater? If not, the ducks around here must be in duck heaven with so many food choices!
That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow begins my workweek 😔 Other than working Saturday past, I only did 48 minutes today. I’ve got to reduce the work from home thing and actually take my off days for myself.
