It’s Friday Eve! Excellent! 😎……….My Actifit Report Card: October 22 2026
Happy Friday Eve everybody! 😎👍
Tomorrow is THE day itself and I know that many of you, myself included, are looking forward to it! 😁
My day was busy and productive despite not having a doc. I had a conference call about EHR; a stack of checks to process; patients who needed me specifically, and a whole bunch of stuff. I delegated some tasks to Marissa, so we were both busy!
Yesterday, the eagerly awaited refrigerator arrived for the clinic! I had been given the go-ahead to order a new one. I’d searched long and hard and finally settled on this one.
It is both a refrigerator and has a separate freezer! We were all eagerly anticipating it’s arrival. (Obviously, it doesn’t take much to entertain us girls, lol!)
The brand is Antarctic Star. This description is from Amazon where I purchased it:
Adjustable Temperature Control: This compact refrigerator features a simple rotary thermostat with 3 temperature settings (1° for cold, 2° for normal, 3° for coldest). The setting of 2° is ideal for everyday home or office use, keeping your beverages and perishable items at optimal freshness. For ice making, simply turn to 3° and allow the freezer compartment to reach the proper temperature. When not in use or for defrosting, turn the knob to the "OFF" position.
Energy-Efficient & Quiet Operation: Designed with advanced cooling technology, this mini fridge operates efficiently while consuming minimal electricity, helping you save on energy bills. The compressor runs quietly, producing low noise levels that won't disturb your work, study, or sleep—ideal for bedrooms, offices, and dorms. Simply place it in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources, and follow the energy-saving tips (like cooling hot foods before storage) to maximize efficiency.
User-Friendly Design with Adjustable Storage: This mini fridge features two sturdy glass shelves in the refrigerator compartment, providing flexible storage options for items of various sizes. The door bin offers convenient space for cans, bottles, and small condiments. Two front leveling legs allow you to balance the unit perfectly on uneven floors, ensuring stability and proper door alignment.
Accessories & Customer Service: This mini fridge with freezer comes with 1 Antarctic Star 2.4 Cu.Ft refrigerator, 2 removable glass shelves, 1 door bin for organized storage, and 1 ice cube tray for convenient ice making. For optimal performance and longer service life, we recommend letting the unit stand upright for at least 4 hours after delivery before plugging it in, allowing the refrigerant to settle. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us—we are committed to providing excellent customer service.
Double Door Design with Separate Freezer Compartment: This compact refrigerator features a top freezer and bottom refrigerator with independent doors, allowing you to access frozen foods and chilled items separately without cold air loss. The refrigerator compartment is equipped with two sturdy glass shelves and a door bin, providing flexible storage for beverages, fruits, and leftovers. The freezer compartment includes an ice tray for making ice cubes at your convenience.
As you can see, it has a lighted interior. It’s pretty roomy for taller drinks as well as canned drinks.
The freezer is nice and relatively spacious as well for a mini fridge. I filled the ice cube tray this morning after it had been running for 2 hours and within an hour, the water had frozen over. I suspect it froze solid within 2-3 hours. I didn’t have an opportunity to check that aspect of it.
The only downside is it is not frost free, so we will have to defrost every 3 months. However, they did include a scraper to remove frost as it builds, so as long as we all take care of it, the defrost cycles should require minimal downtime. 😎
Yep—like I said, it doesn’t take much to please or entertain us girls at the clinic! 🤣
That’s gonna be it for me. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

BSB 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
