Wednesday is my Monday, so it was off to work I go! We started the day fully booked, but ended up with a couple of cancellations and then a couple of walk ins, so I guess it ended up evened out. One poor guy had a piece of metal in his eye and the doctor had to use the foreign body removal kit and it included drilling a bit of the sclera(white portion of your eye) in order to make sure all the metal was out. Not a fun task for the patient, and even harder for the doctor when the patient spasms every time you get near his eye. The doc got it taken care of and all is well with our patient.
The afternoon was slammed for me as every time the phone rang, my coworker would answer and tell the person on the other end of the line, that ‘ yes, she’s here, but she’s with a patient at the moment’. I apparently was in demand, lol!
When I got home from work, the rain had begun, and the forecast is slating it for the next 10 days. However, here in the Northwest, it might just be intermittently raining and not pouring all the time. Tonight’s hike was out, so my steps reflect that. We will see what tomorrow holds. That’s it for now…..
