Welcome To Stoney Ridge Farm! 🎃🎃🎃…….My Actifit Report Card: October 3 2026
Today was the grand opening for the pumpkin festival at Stoney Ridge Farm. This local family-owned farm gears up in a big way each October on the weekends. They grow pumpkins and various varieties of squash, (aka gourds in my book) apples and offer freshly pressed apple cider by the gallon! Today’s grand opening was welcomed with stellar weather—you couldn’t have asked for a prettier day!
There was a pumpkin patch 🎃 as far as the eye could see!
The farm supplied you with a wheelbarrow to tout your selections in. We took a pocket knife as we learned last year, you pretty much need one. Some of those vines are huge!
There was a barn with a concession inside offering hot and cold cider; hot chocolate and coffee; plus freshly made and fried pumpkin doughnuts. There was live music as well.
Beautiful fall decorations were at every turn featuring—you guessed it—pumpkins!
There was a tractor ride to enjoy, a corn 🌽 maze to get lost in and a pizza bus serving pizza by the slice or the whole thing if you’re super hungry!
We had a marvelous time wandering around and enjoying the sights and smells of it.
