This is my first post on the community, I hope that I won't break any rules and guidelines on the community. 馃榿
My intention to give it a go and make a post here is to give a little refreshment to the city, I mean adding some nature or animal macro shots to the city.
This little scary-looking animal is the yellow-banded leafroller parasite wasp, a very long name for a small insect.
According to iNaturalist, this is the Xanthopimpla rhopaloceros from the Ichneumonidae Family.
They are considered a parasite because the female of this wasp will lay her egg into any larvae of another insect that she found. The other insect larvae that have been injected with eggs, will become a host for the new generation of this wasp before eventually will die from the inside. Thinking of a bad way to die.
