I had gathered the materials needed to craft the blowgun. So I set off on horseback to return to Yuriko.
The beauty of Sakai Estate truly charmed me on the way there. I had never visited this place before. I had explored numerous locations across Tsushima, from Komoda Beach to various mountains, seascapes, and villages but I had never set foot in Sakai Estate. That is why the place felt entirely new to me.
I returned to that favourite spot of ours. A massive tree stood beside a lake, and Yuriko sat beneath it, waiting for me. I noticed she looked sad. When I asked her about it, she told me that sitting there brought back memories of the past. Little Jin used to play right here, and Yuriko had done everything for him. That same little Jin had now grown up and was fighting against the Mongols. This made the moment truly emotional.
Yuriko told me she needed to go to one of her hideouts to prepare the poison. Special flowers could be found there that would allow for the creation of an even more potent poison. Yuriko and I both mounted our horses and set off for that location.
After arriving at the hideout, Yuriko asks me to gather those specific flowers. I wander around the area and collect them. The poison is to be made using three different types of flowers in total.
Upon returning with the flowers, Yuriko told me to grind them thoroughly into a paste. Then, this paste must be applied to the tips of the darts. I do exactly that. After grinding the flowers well and applying the mixture to the dart tips, the new poison is finally ready.
Yuriko then informed me that this was a hallucinogenic poison. If it entered someone's system, they would begin to hallucinate briefly before losing consciousness.
Shortly after the poison was prepared, two Ronin came there and began to talk. From their conversation, I understood that they are here looking for Yuriko. I decided it was time to test out my new poison.
I pulled out a blowgun from my position above and fired poison darts at two Ronin in the distance. As soon as the darts struck, they began running around like mad. They were completely hallucinating. Moments later, both of them collapsed to the ground.
I returned and told Yuriko the whole story. She was quite pleased with the results. She then told me about a new kind of poison. this poison would make enemies fly into a furious rage and turn them against one another.
