Greetings to all members of this lovely holos-lotus@holos-lotus community, and a special shout-out to damarysvibra@damarysvibra for introducing us to this "elemental" theme.
I’ll start this time with a statement: "We are fire." As human beings, we are walking fires—filled with aspirations, dreams, goals, and even hopes that drive us forward in pursuit of what the sparks in our hearts feel. Yet, this exists in perfect balance with a burning logic that offers a more grounded, less visionary perspective.

FUENTE PIXABAY

In our youth, we learn to navigate the dual nature of that inner fire, but as we mature, we realize its fleeting, variable, and situational character. We discover that true victory lies in knowing how to control it—ensuring it neither dies out nor turns into a destructive inferno. But which is worse: letting it die or letting it burn us?
In my country, there is a saying that directly answers this question: "All extremes are bad." This implies that no single element is inherently worse than another; rather, imbalance can never be harmonious.

FUENTE PIXABAY

Today, we are focusing on the extreme of a dying fire, and to do so, I return to the first guiding question:
• In which area of your life do you feel the need to reignite your inner fire?
In recent years, the pace of life and the demands of my job have compelled me to prioritize intellectual growth—pushing me to research, learn, and explore. Consequently, I have neglected development in two specific areas—which I’ll describe using fire metaphors: creativity and my connection to nature and the outside world.
The vast amount of time spent (and I won't call it wasted) on logical pursuits has weakened my creativity. I used to spontaneously compose songs, write stories and verses, gift the occasional poem, and lose myself in adventure or science fiction novels. The absence of these activities has turned me into a more "analog," less creative being; my flow of ideas has dwindled, and I’ve let a muse or two slip away. Resuming any of these activities would be a step forward in rekindling a bit of my “creative fire.”

The second aspect is my “wild fire”—the one no one tames; the one that follows no schedule or form, and sometimes lacks manners; the one that connects me to nature in the most primal sense, reminding me that I am part of this world—a place where every river, mountain, tree, location, or person has something to show me, or perhaps offers a glimpse of something that REMINDS me of what I have always loved.

FUENTE PIXABAY

I definitely need to add fuel to my creative fire and my wild fire; I need to rekindle these two flames and reclaim a lost part of my essence as a person and a human being. But what small action can I take to stoke my fire with fresh fuel?

FUENTE PIXABAY

The solution isn't all that difficult: I am certain my creative fire will reignite if I write a new story or poem, and my wild fire will flare up if, instead of going to bed early tonight, I go up to the roof to gaze at the stars—for I might even find among them some of the answers I have been seeking for years.
