Evolución personal y musical entrelazada. Parte I
Recuerdo oír las canciones del grupo canadiense Simple Plan y sentirme identificado con algunas de ellas: I'm Just a Kid, When I'm Gone, Perfect....., era como si mis sentimientos más profundos salieran al mundo real con cada "to be on the edge of breaking down" que salía de mi garganta al ritmo de Welcome To My Life.
Thanks to @bradleyarrow for supporting the BBH Project!!!

Hello @holos-lotus community, doesn't it happen to you that life itself feels different if it has a soundtrack? It's not the first time I've reflected on how important music is in my life, so I invite you to be part of this topic that is very personal to me.
The Soundtrack of My Childhood and Adolescence
In my childhood, music was part of my life, but it wasn't until adolescence that it gained its greatest development and consolidation as one of the elements that has most influenced my personality.
At this stage we all believe we have bigger problems than we actually do, and it's not surprising that we end up seeking refuge or safe places; many find it in conversations, friendships, hobbies, books, or games, but I found it in a method where different people told a story similar to mine, through rhymes accompanied by musical instruments.
My adolescence was marked by rebellion, especially against my parents' overprotectiveness, and I went from being the spoiled child at home to becoming the rebellious teenager (without going to extremes, I've never been one for bad habits or practices), which is why I was accompanied by rhythms like pop rock, symphonic rock, punk, electronic music, and any rhythm that shook the floor really hard.
I remember hearing songs by the Canadian band Simple Plan and feeling identified with some of them: I'm Just a Kid, When I'm Gone, Perfect..., it was as if my deepest feelings came out into the real world with every "to be on the edge of breaking down" that came out of my throat to the rhythm of Welcome To My Life.
To be honest, my problems weren't even among the biggest, but when my mind believed they were, life itself put a pop rock soundtrack that helped me alleviate my "teenage sorrows" hehehe.
Maturity and Change of Perspective
When I was 15, my little sister was born when I practically thought I wouldn't have siblings to play with, although she really didn't come to play with me but to teach me a lesson in maturity.
I clarify that my parents have always been present, I enjoy that privilege, but the arrival of a sister at the aforementioned age didn't make me think of her as someone to play with but as someone to take care of; she awakened a protective and paternal instinct in me that made me see life from another perspective, a perspective where my brain and heart aligned in the same phrase: "you have to take care of that little person."
My life took a complete turn and so did the music I listened to; I began to understand romantic and family songs, country came to stay, and I opened myself to a new musical world with a new way of seeing life that went from rebellious to affectionate and protective.
I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith and Make You Feel My Love by Adele had verses that, applied to the context of the situation, perfectly defined the change and sonic maturity that accompanied my personal life.
I've gone on a bit, so I'll leave my changes in musical tastes from youth and adulthood for another post, but I'm really interested in knowing: has music also accompanied you as the soundtrack of your life?
