When it comes to the american economy could bitcoin survive if it's in a detrimental state. I had the thought of someone very significant creating bitcoin just in case there was a major economic downturn or the monetary system failed. But then what would bitcoin be backed by gold? Sounds good, and I mean that bitcoin has value but I think at this time the supply and demand created a new monetary system, but how would you value it. Is there any body or organization that will give bitcoin it's perceived value when it comes to goods and services. I know i'm kind of talking about something that won't happen in a long time but sometimes you have to wonder. I also think Steem will be right next to bitcoin when there is a major change in the world. Just the transaction time of steem is very fast and it has many use cases the steem block-chain is far from being obsolete and yes it's just in it's infancy. But we'll see where these two digital assets end up 5-10 years from now. If you think i'm crazy feel free to do so I'm up for constructive criticism. @durianwalker Thanks for listening to my views and concerns. Peace!!
