Monday was a slow day at school as we put the finishing touches on our classrooms and practiced our classroom routines. The 5th and 6th grade teams will be aligned on a lot of our behavior norms, which should help with consistency for the new 6th grade class. The excitement is building toward Thursday when students show up.
Then there's still this business of moving apartments which is hanging over our heads. Since the move is only a few streets away, I've been taking a wagon here and there every day, slowly but surely making progress as stuff migrates to the new spot. The last week is going to be a grind. Can't wait!
