Yesterday I read a post about the low water levels in the Main and Tauber rivers. It immediately made me think of the Rhine, which is also running very low where I live.
Today I visited our local lake, and I noticed that the water level has dropped there as well. In the photo, you can see that the water normally reaches the point where the green vegetation begins now – that’s a difference of about > 10 cm.
