Claire: "The images are all over the place!"
Staring at my screen, I strained my eyes to see what she was talking about. The images in question are on an email template within image blocks. It's impossible for them to be misaligned, although having said that, if the images are different sizes, then OK, they would look different. Still, the top horizontal alignment would be the same. I emailed Claire back and explained this.
Claire: "They're not centered!"
Now I am confused? What does she mean centred? This is four images, two up, two down. They are the size of the cell/block; how can they not be centred? Again I emailed back.
Claire: "LOOK! The table and chairs legs are chopped off, and look at that champagne glass! The bottom half is cut off!"
Hang on, you're moaning about the actual pictures, not their positions! 🤦♂️
I'd wasted nearly two hours back and forth with this. It's yet another example of poor communication, I've lost count over the years of having to deal with things that have been badly explained if only she had said: "The pictures are rubbish, please replace them with something better." I could have solved this within five minutes.
