Before you start berating people, it's a good idea to get the full facts first.
Yes, I know, probably the less confrontational approach would have been to say, "Excuse me, I was expecting some tablets, and they haven't arrived." Me: "Hi, are you the pharmacist?"
Pharmacist: "Yes."
Me: "I need to have a moan."
Pharmacist: "Oh! You'd better come in here."
Me: "I came in on Friday last week and ordered my tablets, and it's nearly a week, and I haven't had them! I knew it was a bad idea when one of your staff wrote it on a scrap of paper!"
Pharmacist: "Actually, they have put it on; see, it's here on the computer. It's just that the doctor hasn't signed it."
Me: "Oh? Um? Ooh? Sorry"
Pharmacist: "I'll go over personally and get it signed off."
Me: "Don't I feel in the wrong."

"I'm ever so sorry but the results have come back positive and we need to discuss your treatment."
