Greetings and good morning once again, friends of Rising Star! It is a great pleasure to share a new drawing with you. Before we begin, I want to wish you an excellent day, filled with blessings and good health. Today’s drawing is dedicated to the game card R493 DR 77. As you can see, this card belongs to the "Rare" (R) category in the game. The musical instrument it depicts is a classic synthesizer in a lovely shade of yellow.
In case you aren't familiar with it, this specific instrument is an "all-in-one" device—a synthesizer, a recorder, and a piano. In real life, such instruments often feature a wide range of functions, including the ability to emulate other instruments and create mixes for DJs. It is a truly interesting and versatile piece of equipment. As I’ve mentioned before, synthesizers are among my favorite instruments—both in the game and in real life—and I love the music they produce. I’ve drawn several of them from the game over time; you can find those in my previous posts. With that said, let’s get started! I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of creating this drawing. To begin, I created the card's frame—take a look at how it turned out.
Once the frame was complete, I moved on to outlining the main instrument, which consists of various rectangles and straight-edged components that I constructed using Adobe Illustrator. Here is the result.
In the next step, I drew the keyboard section and added other visual details to enhance its appearance. I’ll paint the remaining buttons on top of the existing artwork later.
Moving on, I began coloring the drawing—which, as always, is the most fun part! I started with the outer background, which I painted yellow, followed by a gray frame. Next, I filled in the inner background using various shades of blue, and finally, I colored the synthesizer itself with different tones of yellow. In the final step, I added the buttons and various visual details. Now, you can see the entire process.
And finally, friends, here is the end result. Thank you so much for watching; see you in the next drawing. Good morning and blessings.
