It’s a pleasure to share a new drawing with you today. This piece is inspired by the "E59 Avocado Guitar" card from the game Rising Star. It belongs to the collection of "Epic" cards—in fact, it’s one of the oldest in the game and among the first to appear on the marketplace. In a way, it feels special to illustrate—just as all these cards do, since each one has its own unique charm. The artwork is truly lovely; the background, in particular, is quite striking, featuring a grass-like texture in a vibrant lime green.

I incorporated that same color into the background of my drawing, and I think it turned out quite well—though I’ll leave it to you to share your own thoughts! You’ve already had a sneak peek on the cover, but now I’ll walk you through the entire process, from start to finish. Let’s dive in! As usual, I began by sketching the inner frame of the card. Here is how it turned out:

Next, I moved on to the guitar itself, starting with the neck—which I drew as an elongated rectangle—followed by the body, with its distinctive shape. I noticed that this particular guitar has a slightly larger body than others; it reminds me of the traditional acoustic guitars from my home country. Take a look:

To complete the sketch, I still needed to add one key element: the headstock at the top of the neck. I included six tuning pegs—one for each string. Once the drawing is finished, you’ll see that I’ve extended a string from each peg, totaling six strings in all. With that, the sketch was complete.

Now for the fun part: bringing the drawing to life with color! I started by filling in the background with that grass-green shade, just like on the original card. Next, I painted the frame a light yellow—it was the color that suited it best and followed the example design. As for the inner background, it is painted in various shades of blue. I saved the guitar for last; it is painted yellow with touches of brown and orange. In the final step, I added the strings and the bridge (the part that holds them) in the center of the guitar.

And as a final step, here is the completed drawing. Thank you very much for watching. Have a wonderful day, filled with blessings. See you tomorrow.
