It’s a pleasure to greet you, friends and fellow Hive members. Today, I want to present a new drawing dedicated to one of the fantastic cards from the game Rising Star. As I promised yesterday, today I’m bringing you a drawing featuring a card from a different category within the game. In this case, I chose an "Epic" card—it’s beautiful. It is the E332 Tarantular PB. As you can see, it features striking red tones that really catch the eye, which is why I thought it was perfect for today. In the game, this is a professional sound amplifier and one of the newest models recently added to the in-game marketplace.
I’m pretty sure I’m one of the first in the community to draw this. If any of you have already seen a drawing or painting of it, please share the link so I can check it out too; it’s always interesting to see other people's artwork. Anyway, let’s get straight to the point—I’m going to show you how I created the drawing. The initial step was the same as always: the card frame. I created this using only the inner rectangle of the card layout.
The next step was drawing the body of the amplifier. It has a rectangular shape that is very characteristic of these models. First, I drew the front section—the larger rectangle—and then the section sitting on top. To achieve the effect of showing the back of the amplifier, I angled the straight lines outward; this creates the illusion that you are looking at the rear rather than the top. I think it turned out well.
With that done, I moved on to coloring and filling in the sketch I had just created. I started with the background and the card frame. As you can see, I used a very intense orange, just like on the original card. This is one of my favorite colors in the game—it’s hypnotic. Next, I colored the inner background using various shades of blue. Finally, I painted the amplifier gray and dark red. And in the final step, I added the device's various ports, screens, and buttons. It turned out really well.
