Some people believe that teaching children at home is best for a child's development while others think that it is important for children to go to school.

In various nations around the world, some people advocate teaching children at home is best and some people prefer to send their children to school. Learning at school and learning at home both have their own advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, it is better to send kids to school as I think learning at school has more merits than learning at home.

Learning at home would help to improve the family bonding. Child will get more time to spend with parents and other family members. The biggest advantage according to me of learning at home would be that kids can learn at their own pace and are free to select the subjects of their choice. Disadvantages of kids not going to school would be kids might not be good in socializing with other kids.

Coming to advantages of kids going to school are, they will get trained by professional teachers and more importantly they get an opportunity to mingle with other kids of their own age and this will help in kids overall development. Also, schools will have lot of good infrastructure and kids get benefits out of it, like access to laboratory, computers, library, sports equipment and musical instruments.

Classroom environment is essential to promote and stimulate collaborative learning. Collaborative learning increases a student's self-awareness about how other students learn and enables them to learn more easily and effectively, transforming them into keen learners inside and beyond classroom.

Classroom teaching inculcates conflict resolving skills, presentation skills when it comes to presenting their ideas confidently in front of peers, develops team spirit and teaches them to get along with those from different cultural backgrounds. Such experiences are valuable in shaping students' communication and listening skills, as well as growing and maturing emotionally.

Classroom teaching teaches students how to develop organizational skills, beginning with the basics, such as arriving to school on time. In a live classroom, students are held accountable for being prepared to do school work, which includes having done their homework the night before, being ready for pop quizzes, turning in assignments by their due date and being prepared for in-class discussions. In effect, students learn how to organize their time, prioritize their assignments and get their homework done.

It enhances students' critical thinking skills. Teaching in a classroom gives students the ability to engage in live discussions in which they are forced to use their critical thinking skills to formulate opinions or arguments on an issues.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that kids going to school will have more advantages than kids learning at home. When we compare the advantages of kids going to school over kids learning at home we can very clearly conclude that for a child's overall development it is important for children to go to school.
A school is more than just a show off but rather for learning
