‎Hello everyone, I hope all are doing well today. I will be sharing a fiction story titled "Value of Education"
‎

‎David and Michael were brothers who lived with their parents in a small town. They attended the same school. There is something about the two brothers: they have different attitudes towards education.
‎
‎David, the older brother, believes that education is very important. However, he never gets serious about his academics. He prefers gaming and spending time with friends. His mother always reminds him to study, but David will say there is still enough time; I will read when the exams are near.
‎
‎Michael enjoys learning new things. Even when he finds a subject hard, he keeps trying until he understands it much better.
‎
‎There was a time their father asked them to calculate how much they could spend on repairing a damaged part of their shop. David wasn't serious; he asked his father why he was giving them mathematics when they were on holiday. Michael took a piece of paper, calculated it all, and after a few minutes, he gave his father the correct answer.
‎
‎David was very amazed because he thought education was only about passing examinations. He knew he couldn't calculate what his elder brother Michael did. He felt vhad disturbed and ashamed.
‎
‎Their father then told him that what he has the opportunity to learn in school could help him solve even everyday life problems. This made David more interested in studying.
‎
‎After a few months, their school announced a competition. Students were asked to develop ideas that could solve problems in their communities, and the winner would receive a scholarship.
‎
‎Michael and David decided to participate, but Michael developed a project to help students keep their surroundings clean. He put more effort into that project. He asked his science teachers, who guided him and helped identify certain things.
‎
‎David waited until the last minute to prepare. On the day of the competition, Michael won second place and was fortunate to receive the scholarship.
‎
‎That event motivated David to change his attitude towards education. He said to his brother, "I think I have been wasting too much time. I always believed I could succeed without being more serious about my education." Michael then said to him, "You can still change. Just start putting more effort into learning, and you will become the best too."
‎
‎David decided to follow his brother's advice. He began setting aside time for studies. His results did not improve immediately, but he gradually became more responsible. After some years, David and his brother Michael became successful. David became a businessman, while Michael became an engineer.
