Hello, friends especially foodies!

I know that eating instant noodle is not healthy but sometimes we need to eat it too, maybe because we don't have much time to cook or maybe too lazy to order food (like us) so in this rainy day we didn't order anything for the dinner and checked that we still have some instant noodle as stock at home. This actually a unique tradition in our country to eat instant noodles with soup in rainy days so that what we did today.

The only one brand of instant noodle that we always have at home was just this most famous one, indomie. And maybe you also could find this same noodle brand in your countries too, and now i would like to proudly declare to you you that this is my country, Indonesia local brand. In my country the price of the noodle is just around 2,500 - 3,000 IDR or in USD it was just around 0.18 USD. Imagine, how cheap! But don't underestimate the taste.. before you try it.

These were the instant noodles that we would cook, then the boiled eggs, meatballs, pilus (crispy tiny balls made from cassava), and also chilli sauce.

When i opened the packages of the instant noodle with the seasoning powder, chilli powder, and onion oil.

How to cook it was quite easy. First you needed to boil the water on the stove then when it reached the boiling point, put the noodles in the pot... cook it until around 4-5 minutes. There i also put green chilli and also meatballs.

While the noodles were being cooked, i prepared the seasoning and chilli powder plus boiled egg on our plates.

Voila, here how the noodles looked after we had cooked it...

Look at the toppings we put like boiled chicken eggs, meatballs and pilus, we also didn't forget to put the chilli sauce there too (we usually loved to make it more red and to bring sweet sour spicy flavour).

The taste and flavour of the noodle was so tasty. It had savory flavour with chewy soft curly texture. Somehow this brand had super tasty savory flavour of noodle which you couldn't find in any other instant noodle brand. We also had some other toppings to complete these noodle too.

This time like usually mom chose her favorite onion chicken noodle flavour while me, i had my favorite special chicken noodle flavour. The different between ours was mom's had some dried leaks in the seasoning powder and the taste was a bit different, mom's was a bit more savory than mine, while me, i like the broth of my special chicken flavour :).

For the toppings, we had meatballs, boiled egg and pilus. We tried the new meatballs in kanzler brand, it had chewy soft texture with garlic beef flavour.. how the meatballs usually taste here. While the egg, i used the boiled chicken egg, original flavour. And for the pilus, this one is must try when you come to my country. They made mainly from cassava flour. They were tiny, crunchy and had savory flavour. So tasty and you could add it to all of your food as topping or just eat it as snack.
